A Mothers Set of Pearls

Preserving the memory of a loved one. A Mothers passing prompted the Daughter-in-Law to preserve her memory with keepsakes for everyone in the family made from her string of pearls. Everyone remembers her wearing that string of pearls and now each family member has a custom creation, symbolic of those precious memories. For each of the women in the family the memory was embodied in a simple necklace and earrings. For her son the pearls would take a special place displayed on a frame, housing her picture as a child in the 1800’s. The History is in the Making.

Often times family members that pass away leaving items that are special, yet no one knows what to do with. Remember to re-purpose those items and think out of the box as to what they could become. Preserve those memories and special treasures!

Preserve your special memories! Handmade jewelry and keepsakes are created using a variety of re-purposed materials, often times having a very special meaning. Sometimes I create from beautiful reclaimed Exotics woods from around the world. You can visit our wood types page to see descriptions of each of the woods we use. Other times, from random treasures of re-purposed jewelry, glass, hardware and more. Each unique creation is inspired by nature, history, trends but most often by the personal memories of my clients.
