Exotic wood found on a pallet

You never know where you may find the coolest treasures!

When we have things imported from other countries, often times they use their own local scrap woods to make their pallets, just as we do here with pine and other local woods. This includes from countries like Central and south America where some beautiful exotic woods originate from. These creations were all made from a wood called Bloodwood. I found a block of it on a pallet ready to be thrown away at a vending company. It has no tint or stain on it to give it a beautiful red color, it actually grows that way. Once cut shaped and polished, I found it absolutely gorgeous to repurpose into jewelry creations.
