I lost a good friend this year…
In a prior year my friend Karen had given me some wood from the walls of their family generational home she raised her girls in. She wanted a keepsake necklace for one of her daughters to remember home and would later want more creations made.
When my dear friend passed from this earth I felt so strongly to create necklaces for the rest of her children. In addition I used small pieces of the wood to make little prayer blocks with her name burned on them.
I am so glad she preserved those pieces of wood so I could at least in some small way glorify her memory In allowing God to work through me in the creations for her children.
